Hannah McConaughy
Hannah has been an avid student of yoga for 14 years. She picked it up as a 15 year old athlete injured and working with a physical therapist in Newport News, Virginia. She became interested in movement helpful for the body in lengthening and strengthening the muscles. She also became interested in meditation early on. She moved to Florida in her early 20’s and wound up studying art and eastern philosophy in travels to Thailand and Indonesia. This furthered this
passion. As time progressed, Hannah moved to San Diego where her yoga career took off! She knew to grow her practice she needed to teach.
In 2022 Hannah became a certified yoga alliance teacher. She practiced and was trained in vinyasa. Over the past few years she has worked under many wise mentors in various schools of thought in the yoga world. These include: Baptiste, Ashtanga, and Bikram. She is fully invested in the practice as her lifestyle.
Hannah also teaches breathwork, a form of Pilates called Lagree, and guides ceremonies centered around breath and sound. These all inform her yoga practice and vice versa. She is eager to always learn and always be a student of this work.
