Beth Vanderwerken
Since 2006, the practice of Yoga has been a consistent part of Beth’s life, eventually leading up to the acquisition of her 200 RYT in 2009. She continued to deepen her education in 2020 by completing her 500 RYT. Beth is knowledgeable in many modalities outside of the traditional Hatha practice. These include but are not limited to: Yin, Restorative and Nidra. She enjoys interweaving the philosophy that roots Yoga in with a physical practice to create harmony between Mind, Body and Spirit.
Through yoga, she strives to create Unity of herself as well as with all energies that play a connective role in the universe. To her, yoga is more than a workout, but also a work within. This is something she conveys within her classes, through the use of yoga philosophy, pranayama, and mantra work. But with all the seriousness that comes with a traditional practice, you will also find a very playful side to Beth’s classes.
When Beth isn’t in the studio, you will most likely find her volunteering in the community, cooking plant-based, nutritionally dense foods or high up in the mountains hiking and camping. She finds the most joy within the greater expanses of nature and when her feet are on her mat
